Rehearsal Schedule 10/13-10/24
Good Journey!
Thank you all for your focus and creativity as we’ve started incorporating larger scene work this week! It’s been exciting to see everything coming together, and I truly appreciate the energy you’re bringing to this process.
As we move forward, please take some time outside of rehearsal to refresh your songs, review your choreography and staging, and keep working toward memorizing your lines and lyrics. The more you come in ready to go, the more we can focus on the fun parts — building character, connection, and performance.
We’ll be off-book for music by the end of next week, and your last opportunity to run scenes with scripts will be during our Full Act runs these next two Fridays. After that, we’ll be fully off-book, so aim to have each Act mostly memorized before its run — that way, you can treat those days as your final “safety” rehearsals with scripts in hand.
A couple of logistics notes:
The Choir Concert on 10/22 will be using both the stage and choir room during our usual rehearsal time. I currently have this listed as a full cast hold while we determine a more specific call.
We are finalizing Tech Week schedules this week, which will likely include at least some technical rehearsal time over the weekend of 11/8–9. If you have any conflicts that weekend, please let Skylar or me (jhauser1@pps.net) know as soon as possible.
Thank you again for your hard work, enthusiasm, and teamwork. Every bit of effort you put in, both in and out of rehearsal, makes this show stronger. Keep it up, and let’s keep that TRIBE VIBE burning bright!
