Below is a written recap of what we discussed during Dress Rehearsals regarding how we will run calls and the start of each performance day (including tonight’s Preview). Please read carefully and follow this schedule consistently. If you have any questions, confirm with a Stage Manager. 

5:30pm - Call Time

  • Check in on the sign-in sheet upon arrival.
  • Get into hair, makeup, costume, and body mic.
  • Review script, notes, or anything you need to 

6:30pm - Mic Check

  • Be fully ready for mic check at 6:30.
  • The stage should be clear and prepared for opening procedures.

~6:40pm - Warm-Ups

  • Warm-ups will begin in the Theatre once Mic Check and the Band EQ check are complete
  • Warm-ups will then move to the Choir Room to finish.

7:00pm- Pre-Show

  • The stage and house must be fully set for opening the house.
  • All prop pre-sets should be complete by this time.
  • After this time, no cast or crew should be visible to the audience in any area of the House.

~7:25pm - Places

  • When Stage Management calls for PLACES, move quietly and directly to your start positions.
  • Band will begin filtering in to the pit, and warming up on their instruments. 
  • Once in position, please remain silent and out of sight. 
  • If you begin in the house or on the ramp, you may wait nearby out of view as long as you have a clear cue to get into place before the show starts.

7:30pm - SHOW START

  • House lights will be turned off, theatre doors will close
  • The stage will go to blackout as the cue for the opening number.

12:30pm - Mic Check
12:40pm - Warm-Ups
1:00pm - Pre-Show
1:25pm - Places
1:30pm - SHOW START

We’re entering the home stretch!  We are just three weeks away from opening so let’s keep up the amazing energy and commitment you’ve all shown so far. Please prioritize staying healthy, getting fully memorized for your lines, blocking, choreography, and music, and taking care of yourselves as we move into our final rehearsals. Besides a few pick-up sessions next week, most rehearsals will be large group calls leading up to opening. What an incredible week of auditions! Thank you all for sharing your talent, energy, and creativity with us. You have made the process exciting, inspiring, and so much fun. Casting this show was incredibly difficult and we are so grateful to each of you for the heart and effort you brought into the room throughout this audition process. Below we are thrilled to announce the cast and crew of Firebringer! Monday, September 15th , we are asking the entire company (Cast and Crew) to attend for a full company kick-off meeting. After that, the cast will stay to pick up scripts and do a complete readthrough of the show. The rehearsal schedule for the first two weeks will also be distributed at this time.  We can’t wait to get started and bring this production to life together!
